Mohawk Fine Paper Product Sheets

Project Summary:
As a large chunk of my job at Mohawk Fine Papers, I was worked with numerous departments and merchants to ensure that internal and external sales tools were up-to date in both content and design. One of the many projects that fell into this category were Product Sheets. Each product sheet has digitally printed color swatches that are a combination of photography of the paper (for texture) and also some photoshopping so that the paper color printed accurately at our in-house print shop.

Each product sheet has a corresponding page on the Mohawk website, with color-calibrated swatches there as well.

Methods Service Manual

Project Summary:
One of the many challenges that comes with creating a handbook is balancing readability (and digestibility) of content with page layouts and graphics. Too much text on one page turns the reader off. Too little and you risk wasting space. Balancing the need for graphics and corresponding explanations compounded this problem with numerous rounds of edits where more and more content was added. This project tested my ability to layout content within the constrains of our in-house printer. Ultimately the end result was a clear and concise booklet that laid out all the information a new service tech would need starting at Methods.
